Angie joined DW Simpson in 2005. Angie graduated from Fairfield University in Connecticut earning a triple major in English literature, English writing and German. Following Fairfield, Angie had a Fulbright Scholarship and taught English at a bilingual high school in Magdeburg, Germany. Upon returning from Germany, Angie attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she received her Master's degree in Comparative Literature in 2002.

Angie has several publications including recent articles in The Actuarial Review, Contingencies and the American Academy of Actuaries JobSeeker. Angie has also spoken about international market conditions for the Chinese Actuarial Club of Chicago. Finally, she is actively involved internally with much of the writing and copy which appears in publication.

Outside of the office, Angie enjoys cooking and spending time with her friends and family.
