Barclay joined D.W. Simpson & Company in April of 2000. Prior to D.W. Simpson, Barclay was a Media Planner at the Chicago advertising agency Kelly, Scott & Madison, Inc. Barclay graduated from Western Illinois University in May 1998 with a Bachelors degree in Marketing. Barclay moderated a panel on "Non-Traditional Roles for Actuaries" at the 2006 CAS Annual Meeting. He also presented on the "50,000 mile Career Check-up" at the Adirondack Actuaries Club in 2006, and co-presented "How to Prepare, Interview and Land Your First Actuarial Job" at the 2004 ASNA Annual Convention in Toronto. |
